Cultural Resource Consulting Group's Phase IB-II Cultural Resource Investigation undertaken on behalf of Commerce Bank recommended a series of mitigations in order to counteract the physical and visual effects of the company's proposed bank branch on the larger estate property encompassing Liberty Hall, a National Historic Landmark. One of these mitigations entailed the creation of a mural that would be installed in the new bank branch and tell the story of the families who resided there. Serving as project manager and author, Gregory wrote the historical overview and supervised the design and layout of the mural, thereby enabling the public to learn about this nationally significant property.
