Rockleigh Borough

The Borough of Rockleigh encompasses a rare Colonial-era settlement in Bergen County, New Jersey that boasts single-family dwellings and farmsteads that date all the way back to the mid eighteenth century. Consistent with its objectives to protect this architectural legacy and its environs, the borough has both a zoning ordinance and a team of professionals that it regularly relies on to ensure conformity with its laws. Since 2005, Gregory has been part of the borough's consultant team, conducting reviews of development applications, offering written and oral testimony at monthly board meetings, and providing input to its Historic Preservation Commission and Planning Board regarding proposals affecting its historic properties and amendments to its preservation ordinance.
